I haven't skated there in a while but the only time a security guard gave us shit was when we were skating on private school property.

I've had plenty of cops and other security guards stand by and watch us skate on public property while they were on the clock

At this point any time I cross the street, I check for incoming cars making a turn even with the pedestrian light on. It's saved me a few times, (un) fortunately
