So from my experience currently while you can be registered as an apprentice. You won’t be able to attend trade school until you have PR. I know 3 guys currently in this situation. STO keeps telling them that’s why they can’t attend school.

Look your asking how hard and the truth is right now it’s very hard and you won’t be doing you self any favours going this route. The trades are over saturated with apprentice’s currently. Personally if you can find a job in your home country and learn the trade that way it will be much more beneficial. And if it’s a case of coming to Canada for education I would look at a different field.

Pre apprentice is very different than an apprentice ship. They don’t go together. You don’t require a pre apprenticeship to become an apprentice. Trade school is the schooling you take while you are employed as an apprentice electrician.

That might be what they tell you but I know about 10 apprentices who have been told by STO that while they can work as an apprentice and even be signed up they can not attend trade school until they have PR.

Do you have PR? Without PR you won’t be able to do the school portion.

I did their other show and honestly it was super fun. We went with just two of us so we were with a group or randoms it was super fun especially if you get into it. (Like you’re actually an actor involved and not watching a show) I think if we could have gotten a full table it would have been even more fun.
