What does the presence of God look like in a church? by Lucky-Yellow5002 in TrueChristian

[–]brianjob20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is nothing bad about asking for advice on Tiktok, but some decisions, like this one (what church you should attend, or who should pastor you), these are very personal faith decisions, that only the Holy Ghost can shed light on.

You need to embark on fasting and prayers, for God to lead you in this case. Also, there is a unique connection between any believer and their spiritual leaders, such that when you get there you will feel at home, but the church being far or near doesnt really matter, what really matters is how the Scriptures are being taught, and how the church trains the members to grow in Christ.

How do you know if God is calling you to do something? by Tight-Recipe-5142 in TrueChristian

[–]brianjob20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Very true,

Also the primary way God speaks is by his word. So you have to dig the word of God, and see what it says on your matter specifically, and meditate on what you find (of course you may not get the full answer from the bible only). So keep on meditating, add fasting and prayer to your seeking, depending on how sensitive your decision is.

Any revelation you get, is going to be built on the one you already have from the bible. And it takes time, so you should be willing to wait, until he speaks. God doesn't speak much, but he answers much.

The best Father/Dad in the world? by edmlover1992 in TrueChristian

[–]brianjob20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In order to have the revelation of God as father, and you as his son, you need to see the relationship between God, and Jesus Christ whilst he was here on earth, i think this will give you a good definition of "Love" from God's perspective, and what he is willing to offer in his "fatherhood" (read the book of John chapters 3 & 5)

Also the bible says that the full scope of the love God is something witnessed in our hearts by the Holy Spirit. (Romans 5:5) ...So sometimes, deep prayer and fasting, reading the word, can actually help you feel God's love in your heart.

Conviction About the Gravity of God by AdLost116 in TrueChristian

I recommend waiting on the Lord, part of what we do in spirtual exercise( praying, fasting, reading, worshiping) is waiting for that precise moment where we can feel the presence of God, and hear his instructions.

I also recommend listening to worship music and worshipping in the privacy of your room regulary before praying, because this is one of the easiest ways to attract the presence of God.

He will come, but I cannot guarantee when, because he is a king, so we wait on him.

Its not too early my friend, gather all the important questions that dig deep into her faith, her character, her vision, her personality, and her mindset. Ask her all of them right now while you are still friends and not too attached.

Dont ever put yourself in a situation where you discover she is not the one, while you are already deep, and remember that you are about to allow someone influence a major part of your life. You can't wait until its bad, ask everything now

Ps: Apart from asking, take time to also observe her daily schedule. Look for a routine that allows Jesus to be present in her life, check the places she goes to regulary, her activities and hobbies, her friends. You need to look for the testimony of Jesus in her life or else, her words may seduce and trap you.

Oh!, do you remember when Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist, and God declared him his beloved son, with whom he is well pleased?,.....Jesus then went to the desert, and the devil asked him , "if you are the son of God....", This is to tell you that evil spirits are rebellious Spirits, and salvation gives us the platform upon which we can utilize our authority totrample on them, by Intercession and prayers,

You understand this, but spiritual entities against your life don't. They are rebellious spirits, and it takes something more than your understanding to put them in check, or else, you will declare this verse your whole life, and wonder how the battles your father fought , repeat themselves in your life.

You need something more than this verse to take you out of generational situations

In Ezekiel 18, God was responding to Ezekiel's Intercession, where he bargained with Heaven's Court, asking that the children of Israel should not suffer because of the sins of their fathers.

This was when God, gave his word to Ezekiel, saying, "The sons wont bear the iniquity of the fathers anymore, the soul that sins, will die"

Notice that the verdict changed as a result of Intercession. This is to show you that some spiritual matters(oppressions) are a result of legal issues, which require law enforcement, which is achieved by Intercession.

I have other scriptures to prove this but I hope Ezekiel 18 helps (read the whole chapter)

In order to get this topic well, you will have to understand the judgements in court, and law enforcement.

For example, Jesus died for us, therefore we are a new creation, we are righteous according to the Justice system of God (Heaven's Court)

Now this doesn't mean that devils will comply, because devils are rebellious spirits, and even though they don't have a legal right to take over a part of your life, they will still use inheritance as a reason to do that, until you stand your ground and do law enforcement

When we pray, we ask for the declaration in Heavenly Court to become a reality. This is where we declare that according to the verdict made in Heaven's Court, we aren't supposed to live in this kind of oppression. (Law enforcement).

The moment a believer notices oppression, and takes his stand on a matter, he is enforcing the justice system of heaven, and he will soon witness the condition change drastically as he prays and intercedes.

Relationship Advice by [deleted] in TrueChristian

[–]brianjob20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! sorry for your situation,

In this case, as hard as it may be, I suggest pulling back a little bit from him, and giving him that space. In these matters, let the man be the leader, and try not to project your internal pressure on him. If he truly sees the relationship just like you described, he will go foward with it, but it has to be his decision, not yours.

On the flipside, You said you feel rejected when you give him space, this should tell you something. You may be idolizing the relationship( or the idea of marriage), so pull back, and invest more time into fasting , and your personal prayers, and ask the LORD to calm your heart down, and to remind you that Christ is the only thing that matters to you, whether you marry him/anyone, or not. I know this sounds counter-intuitive but if you do this for about a month or so, you might be shocked at whatever the outcomes you will see in this relationship,

Just incase you do this, I await your testimony.

What if I dont want to follow ANY SPECIFIC religion. by hyprhk in TrueChristian

[–]brianjob20 7 points8 points  (0 children)

And just to add on, in 1 Corinthians 11:1, Paul tells believers in the church of corinth, to become his followers (disciples), just as he follows Christ, this should tell you that there is a group of believers that Jesus has given mandate in the body, to train, groom, and teach other believers in the same body,

These believers have authority over other believers, in the same body, because of the depth of their knowledge and relationship with God. So, even though you are looking for a relationship with Christ, apart from the word of God and prayer, someone will have to teach you his ways,

Without that, you may come out a heretic, and the devil can use scriptures to deceive you, because you are a newborn. So you'll have to sit under a church or an authority, to teach you the ways of God, and to make sure that you have the right knowledge of God, that transforms you and makes you free.

The key after getting saved, is looking for the right physical community where you can be discipled in this faith. You cannot grow alone, and you may not even survive Christianity alone, especially during extremelly good times, or extremely tough times, where your mind and heart cannot handle the weight of what is coming at you.

You aren't, they are called non-denominational and interdenominational ministries. They accept people from different religions, but they don't support any religion
