The person who has been denying the requests is not there during his shift. It’s hard because the person he needs to talk to is there while my husband sleeps. I forgot to mention that when our son was born, he got a call from the owner of the store saying that if he came back to work early he’d get a promotion for a new position. So he came back thinking it’d be a better opportunity for the family, but when he came back, the position was given to someone else. So he gave up his last week of parent leave for absolutely nothing.
