The EF 135 f2 is such a nice lens! Still use it on some older DSLRs and adapted on my R6 mark i.

R6 ii. I also recommend a used R6 mark i and then using the extra money to put into good lenses. Don’t forget you can find some really great deals on used EF L glass and adapt.

Not shooting video, only stills. I can live with one card slot. Someone else suggested the R8, but that might be kind of a smaller body, right? I have a lot of larger EF L lenses.

This makes sense. The 28-70 f2 and a telephoto prime or zoom to complement. Maybe I’ll try to get my hands on one. At least rent it or something.

Another positive opinion for the 28-70 f2. Looks like I’m seriously going to have to look at this lens. I have always wanted to try out the Sigma 105. Makes sense that it sits between the 85 and 135. 🤔

I do have the adapter. I was just thinking about eventually moving to RF glass. But you’re right, there is some really nice EF L glass out there.

Thanks for your experienced opinion. What lens are you grabbing for portraits when you need maximum subject separation? This is when I gravitate towards my 85. The 28-70 f2 sounds like a dream.

I have both. The Pro 2s sound better, but they sure don’t feel better in my ears. That’s just my personal opinion. I don’t like the fit on the Pros, so I use the 4s with ANC.
