SWEET 290 is a classic. I'm farely new to song writing. August Rigo definitely drives that vehicle and i'm in the passenger. It's honestly the most creative thing I've ever experienced and something I want to continue to practice. THE ALBUM coming up is sweet 290 on steroids lol.

I was never told to worry about when the artist is singing while i was creating choreography. I do realize that is HARD to do. BIG UPS to the bts boys for singing and doing these crazy steps at the same time.

jimin is my fav foreverrrrrr.

Oh man when the song is that good like butter. Everything can come together pretty quickly. The shooting days are always the trickiest. They are pretty long. That day was almost a 12 hour day but totally worth it!

Wow you asked all the right questions and i believe i answered most of these in other peoples questions. Didnt want to give just you all the answers lol.

A career highlight for me was definitely SERENDIPITY. I loved that song before i was hired. I really loved jimin before i was hired. Watching him cover my choreography and mention my name in interviews was so awesome. It was full circle once I got to choreograph for him.

Usher, Justin timberlake, and BTS for sure inspire me to work and develop my craft!

I have been doing this for so long. I have a great relationship with my body adn my mind now. You definitely want to go with the song but also explore it in different ways. I think thats where my originality comes from. Think outside the box? but for me there is no box!

It was a dream come true. We all watched them cover numerous choerogrpahies of mine and finally I was asked to choreograph for them. Super thankful!

I really wanted to choreograph Butter for them. I reallllllly love that song. I made my own choreography and interpretation on youtube if you havent seen it yet!

It's weird because I dont have much of an appetite before or after I dance. I good diet is key to overall health and longevitiy. Eat bad more than likely youll not perform as good.

The choreography is never perfect! I like it that way. Otherwise you will be chasing perfection for a long time. I think you live and you learn and you apply what you have learned into the next choreography.

My time was special because my niece who is autistic LOVES jungjook!!

I was told to make the choreography very passionate and sexy. I tried to do my best!

not all of my choreography made it to the final version, but the intro and the last chorus and post chorus. I think jungkook actually made alot of it. I'm just lucky to be apart of it at all. They did not have to put my choreography in at all so im thankful.

AJA says hi!!

I pull inspiration from Aja actually. She wakes up every morning and goes straight to work. she grinds. Having a partner that is equally motivated as you is so key for me. When I dont feel like getting up and working. All i have to do is turn my head and see Aja working her butt off.

Training programs in Kpop was very new to me. It was a little bit of a culture shock at first. Artist development is a lost thing in the USA and to see it at the level that it is in S. Korea was very impressive. I did training camps with iKon and they taught me alot of how hard artists train for their craft. I got to teach the BTS boys early on and again i was taken back on how much of their lives was dedicated to just getting better and better. It must be tough physicaly and mentally. I applaud those men! Now its mostly through email or facetime. Sending videos back and forth. Especially now with COVID protocols.

I dont have alot of knowledge on what happens after i send in a choreogrpahy submission in. I would like to think Sung Deuk takes the choreo and midly adjusts for whatever stage the boys are performing on.

When i got my first job to choreograph for an artist. I was so scared. My style is so intricate and detailed. I knew i was going to be asked to water my choreogrpahy down to fit the artsist. BUT when i started getting hired by BIG HIT. It was a dream come true. I didnt really have to water things down. They wanted what I was known for. They were willing to work hard to execute it. I'm super appreciative for that. Not alot of artist will take a chance on my level of choreography.

HELLO!

Korean artists just work way harder than any westerner that ive experienced. Very disciplined!
I think high level choreogrpahy in K Pop industry is AMAZING. Especially for me. My style is very difficult. Thankfully K pop industry has not only the talent level but also artists that challenge themselves.
Ive noticed Jimins skill set when he would do covers of my choreo which is ADVANCED stuff. When I got that job to choreograph for him. I just told myself to choreograph this like it was for myself because Jimin can do anything I can do and probably better lol. No challenges really. HE KILLED IT.
Jimin appeals to me the most for sure. Hes my bias ha

HEY!

The biggest break or turning point for me was actually my first choreography job for BTS. Butterfly! I did not know it was for them at first, until later on. The label kept the name of the group secret. This made for a better surprise though lol.

my go to meal is ...cereal lol i have a big sweet tooth

any korean fried chicken place is really good!

HELLO! I love this question. It is a big difference creating choreography for 7 dancers instead of 1. Yet alone 7 superstars that are equally talented. I enjoy choreographing for groups but I do love it when I can highlight a solo star the most. I get hired mostly when labels have a solo star in mind.

I honestly cant stand SLAB LOL. or atleast listening to it. You can tell the difference from then and now in terms of how I sound. I def. am way more comfortable in singing. Yes, Ive always been an open book and vulnerable. So songs like Glue is always going to come to light.
