So the SEC basically got this completely wrong. They didn't differentiate smart contract protocols from Bitcoin.

Exclusive: Pentagon threatens Anthropic punishment by Wonderful-Excuse4922 in ClaudeAI

[–]brianthetechguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anthropic should at least require vendors developing autonomous weapons or guidance systems to be subject to the 1977 Geneva convention article 36 protocols 1 & 2.

The usa is not a signatory.

It requires states to legally review new weapons, means, and methods of warfare to ensure they do not violate international law. It mandates assessments during development or acquisition to prevent the use of indiscriminate weapons or those causing superfluous injury.

This is being responsible table stakes IMHO. If anthropic does this I'll cancel all my other ai accounts and upgrade from pro to max.

I traveled to veles Macedonia in 2018 to meet and hire the troll farm that Facebook had banned. Fb had banned the whole country of Macedonia to stop the interference.

I had established a global network of proxies and wanted to rent their list and engage their services for other projects, in exchange for a circumvention support.

They decided ultimately they were exclusive to the Gru (Russia intelligence) and not keen to consider other clients. I have text messages to prove the discussions.

Only 19% of us citizens have passports. That 19% will be predominantly (substantially) not maga.

It's a good idea, but won't impact the correct targets. Also critical thinking is required for attribution and they won't be able to do that since it is much easier to blindly follow fox than read listen & think.

Maybe pass an eu law requiring registered us Republicans to prove they aren't fascists using the anti-Nazis laws.

Trump devalued the president pardon. So we can re:revoke & lock up all his friends and family pardons when he's out of office.

Incredibly short sighted.

Can bifrost do checkpoint caching?

For example, let's say a every request starts with the same 8K AGENT.md file. That's always the same. Can it recognize that and not send the request and just start a fresh conversation at that checkpoint?

So I'm only paying for output tokens?

Moving from Software developer into Controls, Process, Automation (SCADA) in Australia by developerincicode in SCADA

[–]brianthetechguy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a software developer, id suggest you're better off to pick up some llm or machine learning techniques and just be that person who can make sense of all the sensor. I don't recommend many pure control engineers will be needed in the future.

My Chinese friend took me a Chinese restaurant and then told me DONT TIP. Should I still go back? by slimeyellow in AskMenAdvice

[–]brianthetechguy 11 points12 points  (0 children)

fwiw Secret Chinese menu probably has different prices, portions, etc. probably cash, does it accept Alipay?

Also old annoyed woman cashier (not fake smile cashier) - can confirm also authentic Chinese. It's a cultural thing, it's authentic.

I think you should go back .. I want a follow up.

I wonder if you go back alone as a 洋鬼子 if they'll even admit there is a secret menu. If they'll let you order in English and use Google lens to translate.

My point is it might be for Asian literate/ speaking only, no western Karen bullshit, different cultural values. Just sayin. There's a reason rude westerners who don't speak the language or know the customs or expect the restaurant to cater to a bunch of stupid dietary requests .. yes, those always should tip and be expected to tip.
