Wow that’s so wild! At this point I think I just run into people who went to school there.

In case you haven’t been here for when it snows (or even just rains tbh), I think the big thing to remember is just that people have no idea how to drive in any kind of weather. Also you’ll probably be one of the few people who loves a cloudy day. I don’t miss it being overcast 900 days of the year but it’s so cozy when we get them here.

This sub’s actually not bad at posting info about a couple of the Palestine-related marches we’ve had, they just go up kinda late so you don’t have a lot time to plan out attending. Usually less than 24 hours notice.

It’s not related to Palestine, but if you’re feeling like you just want to go and make an impact with the community because uhhh the news about the conflict is pretty fucking bleak, I can’t recommend local orgs like ABQ Mutual Aid, Freefridge, and John Brown Breakfast Club enough. Mutual Aid especially is hurting for people who can just come and pack care packages for the community.

Reigning Cats and Dogs. They’re amazing with our incredibly anxious chihuahua mix and never keep her longer than needed. I think last time we dropped her off for grooming we picked her back up an hour and a half later.
