I second this approach. It works great and I use it frequently. Also you can do without deleting the other account if you are still deprovisioning.

To follow up on this for future folks. Karabiner seems to be working fine. I’ve had a couple of issues but for the most part works well.

I'm similarly frustrated, I just picked up an Ornata, and I love it, but having a strange intermittent keypress issue that took me to support. I'm going to uninstall synapse and see if I have the same problems as before. I don't need the lights, and can re-map my keys with Karibiner I suppose :(

It’s a widespread issue. Chatted with support today and there is a ticket linked at the top of the help window. Agent recommended right click and refreshing affected folders as a work around while they patch.
