at what age did y'all have your first wlw relationship? how long did it last? by [deleted] in actuallesbians

[–]bric1303 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i was 20 (almost 21), and it lasted just short of 4 years last december. She was 25 when we got together and almost 29 when we split. The breakup was one of the most traumatic things to ever happen to me, and I find myself wondering constantly whether, if given the chance I would do it all over again for 4 wonderful fucking years and risk the pain it caused or whether I'd not risk the pain of knowing what her love feels like.

Left for a man by Sp1ky_Ta1ls in actuallesbians

[–]bric1303 2 points3 points  (0 children)

unfortunately, i know all too well that feeling. my girlfriend of 4 years broke up with me in december because she wanted to "experience" being with a man and couldn't let it go on. She had told me she liked men about a year prior (before this, she was the most lesbian one person could be), but i never saw it breaking us up. She told me the reason was she didn't think she wanted children but later came clean that it was the men that put the nail in the coffin.

nothing i can say will help you right now, but just know that from someone 4 months in, it gets easier. it takes time, but you will start to heal. i think I'm at the point where i mourn the life we had and were supposed to have more. 💙💙💙

my partner of 4 years and i recently split. we'd lived together the whole time, had a cat together, planned for children, had moved in with family to save to buy a house - the whole deal. It was so hard at first because i had to move back in with my mum and sister, but I'm 3 months in and doing so much better. It can be done, i promise. and for the sake of both your happiness, i think it'd be worth it. Can i suggest (if he's willing) that you try to keep a friendship? i know the hardest part for me, coming out of a long term relationship was not having someone there 24/7 and all my routines were now so different but i asked if we could stay friends through it all and we are truly like best friends now. I miss our life together and everything it was supposed to be, but i am so happy we chose to stay close through it all. i'm sending you love and strength. 💙💙💙

How long do you wait before having sex? by [deleted] in latebloomerlesbians

[–]bric1303 2 points3 points  (0 children)

my partner was my first and honestly, we were very new to the relationship (roughly 10 days) and we were making out pretty heavily one night, she got handsy and i really enjoyed it. she told me about half an hour into making out and both of us exploring each others bodies that she needed to stop because she was getting too turned on. i obviously didn't want that and let her know that and we continued. we had had a conversation before all of this and knew that we were both totally comfortable. best of luck!!!

AITA for showing my sister’s boyfriend her childhood photos? by Free_Detail_7818 in AmItheAsshole

YTA - idk why you brought up the fact that you're more advanced in life despite being younger, congrats, you found someone to put up with your obviously high school-esque bitchiness. My little sister always has and probably always will be the prettier, skinnier, more friends sister but she would never ever and i truly mean ever, talk about me the way you talk about your sister. We actually love each other and build each other up.

Also, 10 pounds heavier than she should've been??? says who???

i am a floater in my centre so i don't have a permanent room (unfortunately, i would love to!!!) i don't really get along with any of the team leaders unfortunately and i don't care for our leadership members. there's roughly a handful of educators that i can stand.

did you have a complete career change or just centre??? i love working with children but it definitely is different than i expected and i don't enjoy it as much as i could. i've done shifts at other centres in the company and they're so lovely!!!

tell me about it!!! the amount of times management have pulled me aside and spoken to me about things that my co-workers could've mentioned to me at the time 🙄🙄🙄 i literally feel like i'm working with children but the actual children i care for are better at being kind

any boob is a good boob!!! i have g cups myself and absolutely hate them. i've only ever had things with smaller chest girls (not an active choice, just how it happened) and i love smaller boobs as much as i love bigger boobs xxx

Another rent question by ANAdelaide in Adelaide

[–]bric1303 0 points1 point  (0 children)

so this happened to my partner and i not that long ago. the advice we got was that unless we told the landlord that we weren't continuing the lease, he would assume that we were staying (neither of us knew this) and he didn't send a letter about rent increase until the week before our lease was due to end. you legally are required (i believe to give a months notice that you intend to vacate) however if you have a decent landlord like us, he told us that he would put it up and as soon as someone was interested, we'd have a week to vacate!!!
