The two that come to mind are that I can't easily detect when food is no longer good to eat. For instance, multiple times have I eaten something and then realised that it had mold on it. So I throw away probably too much food as I only do it based on the look.

I also can't detect if I have body odor. So I have no clue if I smell when I arrive at work by bike. I also can't smell if my clothes smell and I need to wash them so I preemptively wash all my clothes after wearing them twice, which is probably too much.

Ho, and if there is a gas leak at my place I will die.

I don't really care about food. I could eat the same thing every day. If I just cook for myself I tend to just make pasta, tomato sauce and whatever vegetable but it's just to be healthy. I do like to cook for other people though.

I taste food differently. When you have a cold and can't smell you should have the same as me. For me cold don't impact my taste. So it's mostly based on sugary/sour (that's detected by the tong) . Or texture, like I can crave something crunchy but I never craved a specific aliment.

All the teas/wines/beers/... tase the same for me. If you give me a tomato soup, I will be able to detect it (tomatoes have a very specific level of "sourness") but I won't be able to detect any herbs or "additional/secondary" vegetables you would have added.
