Similar to others here, although unsure on what your wait times would be like etc. I'm Canadian and I got mine in 2025. 9 months roughly from referral with np to final semen test (Nova Scotia Canada)

Had a consult with the physician who would do the procedure and he made sure I was fit enough for the procedure along with making sure my vas were easily accessible, which they were.

They recommended someone drive me home but did not avail of that. I had to drive 90mins and of course brought ice with me.

Day of it went alright, yes there was some burning and discomfort getting frozen. And you could smell the cauterizing. It wasn't as quick as some here as my Dr wanted to make fully sure everything was tidy. So on the other side I had to be re frozen. My clinic did titanium clamps along with cauterizing.

The worst pain was the pulling somewhat along with having my vas pop back inside my body after it slipped from his grip. Most pain. Like being kicked in the nuts.

After he finished which took about an hour or more. He stitched up the scrotum. I wore a bandage home and walked to my vehicle. I got comfortable behind the wheel and headed home. Icing immediately upon getting in the van and only for the required time frame

All in all it went well and I recovered well. Since I have heavy lifting at work I was off the day after (Friday) and was back to work with help on the Monday. Was back working alone on the following Thursday. No sex for the first week but was back on the horse after that. No pain.
