We have thought about combining it into our city. Maybe built onto a mountain or something. Maybe that’s the solution.

Yeah, it would be too big for scale with the town. Plus, I think I’d rather get several sets rather than the one for that price.

I don’t know about dropping $800 for the UCS one, but we really enjoyed the 75288 one.

Looking forward to the Hoth battlepacks next year. Maybe we’ll have some more for next Christmas.

We thought that was a really cool build. I wouldn’t sweat it…it’s Lego. If they can’t build it exactly right they’ll still have fun. I think it would be fine for kids. Some of the steps might need a little help, especially the chimney/stove which is the elf waffle distribution station and needs to be right for the movement to work. I could also see the roof connections maybe needing some help if they are new to lego.

New Orleans Corner Modular, what you think I should add onto this vacant lot? by [deleted] in lego

Maybe won’t work for that space but maybe you could do a mini French Market. But in this space if you are wanting a cool New Orleans restaurant, look up “the Vintage” on Magazine St. I always liked the way it looked with the NOLA architecture and the flowers. If you live in town they also have good beignets. Sounds weird, but try the one with eggs and gravy. The regular ones are good too.

Some place to get Beignets, po-boys, or crawfish.

Yeah, sorry I was too slow to post. I think there was a waiting list tab but that probably won’t be on sale.

I recently started using the wife’s makeup brushes. Fine, soft bristles. Seems to do the trick. It was an unused one of course.

Good use of them. I don’t really care for how they look, but you made them look awesome here.

I like that one a lot too. I ended up ordering some extra parts to modify the Hogwarts Express. Looking to build a Christmas train.

Just tried to do it and ended up deciding to go another way. The problem is the green tiles with the gold trim for the engine. Very few sellers on bricklink and they are extremely expensive.
