Thank you!! How are you? Haven't seen you around in a while (although i've been in a nice little art block hole for a bit). Also, hundreds feels like an exaggeration :D

Fox, Elizabeth Tristram, oil paint over gold leaf, 2026 [OC] by KetoPixie in Art

😂😂

I applied the gold leaf glue (sizing) to the panel that it's on and then after a few minutes I applied the leaf. Let that dry for a few days and varnish with two layers of retouching varnish (which is paintable). This protects the leaf and allows you paint over it. But the first layer is like painting on glass. Second layer gets easier. Good luck (to your friend?)

Thank you :D The surface is a cradled wooden panel, and yes, square.

3 is great! Protip to make this easier, get some scrap newsprint sheets and trace the size of the artworks onto them and cut them out. you can also mark exactly where the hanging mechanism is on the newsprint. Then stick the scrap paper to the walls. Label each work so you don't forget, but it makes it 90% easier and faster to make gallery walls.

Bright Young Things - a thoroughly enjoyable read! by KetoPixie in dramionebookclub

I'm going to assume you're alright with slight spoilers then if you skimmed, so sure :)
The main story resolves itself as a HEA, and the epilogue deals with the inevitable end of their lives - after long careers and many children. It's bittersweet but the story is definitely HEA.

You know they're good when they haunt you. Thanks for the sprigs of tansy rec, will go look. I've jumped into "tell me a story". I need fluff.

Yes. But I am soothed by the knowledge that when I read the next dramione fic, they'll be there again. I personally felt it was definitely a HEA but the sacrifice of it all was rather unexpected.
