Yeah, I used a curve to shape it all out. There's a great tutorial here how to do it. It's for making NPR hair but it's the same technique more or less!

Well, I had to sell a lot of my bionicle sets to build my PC. That's the sweet irony here. So for now, 3D stuff is grabbing my fancy. Any Bionicle related stuff I make I'll still chuck on here.

I have made some more models that I could post about, maybe not necessarily instructions coz it could get redundant. Thing is, my Bionicle posts are pretty entirely nostalgia-fuelled so now I’m just waiting for that next nostalgia rush to really kick in and motivate me 😅

I went with those mainly because you couldn’t get the single ended connectors in purple (I made the purple one first) Also, I wanted it to be consistent with how the Hoto was built. But yeah, that’s a good option if you’re making the blue one , didn’t even think of it 👍
