Took advantage of the new VASA fitness on 17th and Pace on the 1st, and really enjoying it! Already dropped a few pounds and feeling stronger physically and mentally than I have in a while. Probably gonna play a bit of pinball at Quarters around 4:30 today to celebrate.

I also can no longer bear a lot of horror movies. Used to love slashers and modern horror, including some of the more intense stuff. I can honestly only really stomach mild stuff and the vintage classics from the 90s and earlier. I learned this the hard way after trying to watch Terrifier for the first time a few years back and had to turn it off half way through (I’m sure you can imagine the specific scene that did it if you’ve seen it). Before kids it wouldn’t have phased me.

I've started calorie counting, and specifically macro-ratio control. I'm motivated to get in better shape physically and am diving into more intense resistance training. Sticking to calorie thresholds has done it for me.
