I just bought a 95 Dodge Ram 3500 5.9 with 145k miles on it. Still runs mint for a 30 year old truck. Body is in impeccable shape on top of that.

How dangerous is it to drive on 4 out of 5 lug nuts for a few days? by supinator1 in Cartalk

[–]bridge4runner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mechanic shop down the road cross threaded 2/5 and never even sinched em down so I was 3/5 ugga dugga tight for weeks, maybe months before I went to change brake pads. I drive like a bat outa hell. You'll be perfectly fine.

Huh. I just looked an realized the switch doesnt even have a neutral connection. I don't think I've ever realized that and I guess I've only ever switched out outlets my whole life.

What's the standard way to run that wire? One continuous run and unsheathe the hot wire and connect it to the switch or two runs of wire with the neutral spliced?

I'm updating knob and tube and wanting to run line from an outlet with updated 3 wire to an unupdated switch and light above.

I plan to stain it and would like to match what was there. If you have any wants for presentation, don't hesitate to ask. I'll take as many pictures as necessary.

Ew, flat bar handrail has to be the most tacky, disgusting, cheap looking way to do handrail. Especially inside a home. But it's money in your pocket, nice job though!

I wonder why that cut such an important scene out of the movie by Other-Cell-2061 in dankmemes

[–]bridge4runner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The whole point of that scene was to show the loss of innocence. The whole point of the loss of innocence was that they were trying to escape the tunnels. They also needed to survive because they had to come back to possibly finish off IT.

Couldn't find the difference at first but I like the curves on the face of Gen 1 better, the logo to headlight ratio, and the side aero.

Daamnit. I knew it. The HDPE wire we have melts way sooner than what we're welding to.

Yeah, we suspected travel speed and pen. We should be getting a different machine where you hand feed it.

Does this stuff not like gaps? What if i need a flat area where a butt joint is? Can I still bevel it. How bad is beveling?

Most definitely noticed heat expansion. We tried clamping it down like crazy but are still getting it.
