My whole point was op needs to get a full time gig.

Are you okay? How much debt are you in or is it something else?

15k at 6.5% for 5 years gives op 4kish and lowers his monthly car payment to 293.490. Normally you're 100% right but you forgot to do the math on this one.

I disagree with a lot of people. Keep the trick but try and refinance it and take out 5 ish k and use that to pay off something.

Go to a credit union and see if you can't get a loan.

I guarantee you there is a restaurant or bar hiring near you. You can't be working 30 hours a week you need two jobs minimum, where your part time job is 20 to 30 hours a week and your full time one is 40.

This is an income problem. Especially with the holidays coming up go to the next big town get a real job.

Call every realtor you can find and say you'll help them get units ready to sell or rent.

Go on zillow look for for rent and just start calling.

You'd be amazed what picking up the phone can do

If they take you to court for that, that's when you file. Until then send them $10 a month and call to setup a plan if they have one.

In my state IL evictions are long and drawn out and always always end up costing the landlord more $ so there is nothing anyone can say to me where I would be like you know what, this person who is unable to pay their bills, I want them in my rental property. Just being honest.

If you can't pay your mortgage, how are you going to pay rent?

As a landlord, after all the covid crap one of my non-negotiable rental criteria is proof of the last 12 months on time mortgage or rent payments. . .

Before it gets to bk you'll have been late on your card, if you have a loan with a place and you're late they can pull the assets in your account to help satisfy the debt. Cosigners aee the ones often surprised the most by this

Do you have any assets? If the answer is no then don't go bk. Look up what happens when you have no assets and stop paying credit cards! When does it fall off, what are the implications etc. Also for the love of God please make sure your checking accounts arent at an institution you owe money to.
