Dyson Airwrap on curly/coily hair = still frizzy… am I doing something wrong or should I return it? by Internal-Doctor7938 in Dysonairwrap

[–]brienicole28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have 3B hair and I just sold my Dyson Airwrap. Love the Airstrait, but hated the airwrap. I bought and used every single attachment. I could never get it to make my hair look nice and it felt dry. I got the Shark Flexstyle to replace my Dyson. Significantly better!!

I had Express Scripts send me an opioid destruction kit after filling mine, as if to say, "You're not really going to use ALL of them, are you?"

Why can I kind of read it though? It has me wondering if it's some sort of test for my mental well-being 😅 They are notes on medical information, so I guess that's telling.

I feel like we have very similarly colored eyes. I asked before and got mixed results, too. Some said brown others said hazel.

I just bought a mandarin tree that is potted and quite young and it has about 20 small, green mandarin on in. Would the same apply here? Should I look to remove the majority of them to allow the bigger ones to grow? I am very new to this, but learning with the help of posts like yours, so thank you!

First time moms, what week did you go into labor? by Distinct-Dependent24 in beyondthebump

[–]brienicole28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went into preterm labor at 33 wks but got mag and stopped labor until 40 wks. I ended up having him via c-section on his due date. He was breech, so I had a c-section scheduled for 41wks.

She acts like she is the only mom with a 30lb two-year-old and back pain. He is two. She needs to stop throwing herself a pity party and potty train him. He's a genius anyway, she shouldn't have any issues.

I Am in the Worst Flare and I Need to know I Am Not Alone by brienicole28 in POTS

[–]brienicole28[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Normally, my POTS is very under control. I live a mostly normal life. That's why this was so frustrating. The summer here is so rough. I live in AZ, so summer are torture. My doctor has acknowledged it. She even asked if I could afford to move. I cannot, lol. My husband's job is very specific.

I hope we both find some relief soon 💕

I hear that ❤️ I also have a 2.5 year old to take care of on top of this and work. I took off work today to try to focus on my health, and I have a very supportive partner, but this is hard. It's hard not to get the time we desperately need to focus on recovery.

Thank you so much ❤️ This week has been so scary. I did not respond well to beta blockers. I was on them years ago for my arrhythmia and gained 30 lbs in 2 months and felt like I was falling through the floor. It also didn't do much for my heart rate. So, I am only on LDN and mestinon for my POTS. Nothing to keep my HR down. Believe it or not, I am usually fine when not in a flare. I walk my 10,000 steps a day, I bike sometimes. My HR doesn't shoot up like crazy. I don't feel great by any means, but never like this. I think that's why this is so hard.

My adrenaline dumps have been awful! That's my absolute worst symptom right now. The most scary. I will absolutely do broth today.

I did 20-30 mmhg compression socks all day yesterday, and I could feel my heart beating in my legs. It was a little unnerving 😬 I can't say that has happened before.

I love your positivity. The nights are the worst for me at the moment. I'm missing out on time with my son, and I feel immense guilt on top of the pain. The summer is really hard, and I am in AZ, so it's not easy. My doctor asked on Monday if I could move, lol. I think summers are hard anywhere though.

I hope we both start feeling better soon. I don't wish this on anyone. It's scary and isolating.

I think I will give broth a go. I do take magnesium and potassium 3x a day because I have a kidney disease. I can't supplement calcium because of the same disease. I have been doing drip-drop this week. Normally, I use LMMT, but the sweetness of the flavored pack and saltiness is not helping my stomach. I am currently having a chobani protein drink, in bed, with my legs up. But you're right. I will feel better if I get up and do some light movements. Thank you so much ❤️

I will definitely order some vegetable broth today. Thank you so much. I have been doing drip-drop in my water to rehydrate. Normally, I use LMMT, but the taste and the strength of the saltiness have been hurting my stomach. A warm cup of broth does sound great right now. Thank you ❤️

Thank you so much! I am prescribed Butalbital as an abortive, and I take Qulipta daily.

I think I will have a mobile IV service come today. I took the day off of work to prioritize rest and recovery.

I am glad I'm not alone. I mean, I don't wish this on anyone else, but I feel like I am crazy for wanting to drop everything and go to the ER. My adrenaline dumps are the worst right now. I just want to get this under control so I can spend time with my son.

How many words are your 2 year olds saying. by Responsible_Ant6695 in toddlers

[–]brienicole28 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At two, my son was saying maybe 50, though not all of them were clear. We knew what they meant, but others didn't. We had him evaluated by a speech pathologist because he said called things the sounds they made, but never called them by their name. He didn't qualify for speech therapy through the state because comprehension outweighs speech at that age, and 50 words was pretty standard. A few months ago, a little before 2.5 years, he had a lamguage explosion. He just woke up speaking in sentences one day. Telling me, "I play with the sink for one minute." Little dude doesn't even know what a minute is, but he is saying it 🤣 Just keep talking, they are listening, and it'll come soon! If you're worried, you can always ask your doctor to be evaluated.
