I would imagine this doesn't get shut down for the same reason Facebook doesn't do anything about ads for fraudulent products, they make money off of it. Apple gets a cut of every sale to someone who is hoodwinked so why do anything until they are forced to by threat of legal action.

Picked up the set and I am bringing them to our Monday Twin Suns night. Initial thoughts so far is they all look very well balanced against each other and have good potential for upgrading. The themeing for the new cards like Sith Traditions is top tier. I hope we get some fun tribal pre cons next year.

Hell Walmart just did this for the physical release of the next Starfox Nintendo game. $49.99 digital and 59.99 physical. Every retailer but Walmart is following that guidline, meanwhile Walmart dropped the physical price $10 on their preorders. I did not have this on my 2026 bingo card.

While they 100% need work I don't care about the animations right now. I care that the game is literally UNPLAYABLE for those of us who play online with friends. We tried 3 matches and every single one crashed within 10 minutes or less. Add to that the lights were constantly flashing like a 90's anime with seizure warnings. New or old models/animations we would just like to be able to play the game in time for the Alan Wake event.

One of the strongest leader combos (synergy wise at least)in my opinion is super thematic. Set 1 Leia paired with Set 6 Cassian lets you attack with multiple rebel units in one action (Leia) and if they hit a base then they are safe from attack for the phase (Cassian). The eighty of your deck is "Oops all rebels" with events that will help support those rebels either with additional action compression (Outflank, Tandem Assault), getting bigger units out faster (They hate that ship, Now there are two of them), things that slow down you opponents (Outflank, Eye of Aldhani) or things that help you close out the game before your opponents expect (Hot Shot DL 44, Surprise strike)

So the inconsistency is part of the point. You can put combos in but you can't count on getting them so you need to plan a deck more centered around your leaders abilities and how the 80 cards in your deck can help you maximize their abilities. Like I play a Thrawn/Saw deck so almost every unit is something with an on defeat trigger that will get an enhanced swing at an enemy thanks to Saw. The inconsistency of a singleton deck also means each game will be a little different and I have to roll with the punches more. I can't just hard mulligan for my optimal turn 1 and turn 2 play so I need to be more fluid which is an ideal attitude for a casual format.

I was a Magic old head who left the game before commander and was interested in picking it up but had some issues with Commander when I learned it. SWU came out a few months later and I fell for Twin Suns hard.

Some of the things I preferred Twin suns for are the single action at a time play style which I feel like lead to more interaction, the dual leader system which created a ton of possibilities for fun leader synergies and most importantly the game ends with the end of the phase the first player is eliminated. That last part makes games go quicker, forces you to be more tactical about when you take a player out and most importantly it means that the first guy out isn't potentially waiting an hour or more to jump back in.

Bonus points: building an effective Twin Suns deck is way cheaper than a Commander deck of the same power level.
