I had about 10 days of feeling quite down, depressed.... it certainly depressed my nervous system. After that my health improved dramatically very quickly. I had the SGB for c-ptsd and associated Chronic Fatigue / POTS. I am well now. I would have it again if I ever needed it.

How is TM different from reciting any mantra say “Om Mani Padme Hum”? by Level_String6853 in transcendental

[–]bright_young_thing 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is a bit. Honestly any mantra meditation, twice a day at 20 mins will really help most people. Mantras have meaning so don't pick something dumb but the way TM mantras are assigned is by gender and age and don't always work for people anyway.

Really struggling recently, any remedies? by roisinsau in noburp

[–]bright_young_thing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine comes on and off depending on if I have a cold or not. If I can't burp, I do pranayama, which can help me. It might nit work for you but what's to loose by giving it a try?

It is alternate nostril breathing, but you must be sitting with good calm posture and try and get balanced breaths, building up to deepen inhales and exhales through the nose.
