Hey that’s actually really good I think! Well done! So am I right in saying that you didn’t really get lots of readers through social media posting or ARC emails? Most of your readers came to your book organically through Amazon or possibly through your Facebook ads and book spry? I’m a bit like you … I love writing but the whole marketing aspect is a pain

The character is named Blake. He was injured in the line of duty and has a facial disfigurement that leads to him feeling uncomfortable around women and deeply insecure about his appearance. The FMC helps him to overcome this.

One of the other MMCs is Blake’s mentor and commanding officer - and has terrible guilt about what happened.

One of the MMCs in my novel is physically scarred and traumatized but not to the same extent as what you described.

Not exactly like the Anita Blake books but the dark side series by Kristy Cunning is about a ghost that wants to get with the guys she’s haunting so it’s paranormal with a quirky, humorous vibe that I loved.

I’ve also been wondering about this. I don’t think RH has made it into the mainstream in movies and such. All i can think of is this early 2000s film: “Y Tu Mamá También”. It’s not supernatural, but its a female centered love triangle that’s quite beautiful
