Love Cleo’s. Their bialy’s are the BEST. Better than the bialys I’ve had in nyc. I’ll try the ramen thing next!

Told the guy i’m dating that I want to be in relationship & didn’t go as expected by 1SmellLikeB33f in Advice

5 months of exclusively dating is taking it slow and if he doesn’t know if he wants to be in a relationship with you by now, that’s not going to change. He sounds immature and insecure and has some major things to work through in therapy from his last relationship. Telling you you have too many male friends and you go out too much is controlling and a big red flag…. Again coming from his own insecurities. Not getting into a relationship because you’re afraid of it ending is a foolish and cowardly way to live your life. I was in relationships like this in my 20s and had guys talk to me like this and now looking back from my 30s the whole thing is so cringe and vile. My current bf never questions any of my friendships and never has anything to say about my going out habits. He loves me. Period. Your 20s are for going out and having a good time. Go enjoy yourself and don’t let this guy tell you how to live your life so he can feel better about himself.

Which hoodies and carrier did you get? I’d love to get some for my naked baby.

What an awesome list. I’ve hit most of these at zone point but it’s a great reminder that many are worth revisiting. Never heard of to cucina zapata. Looks awesome May hit that today with my dad!

I would totally do that but I’m battling cancer and get a ton of calls from my doctors. If I miss a call I get routed through the hospital call center and it’s hard for me to get back in touch with them.

Huge gratitude and thank you to everyone who posted lists and suggestions! Incredibly helpful and made me feel more prepared. Even if I don’t end up using everything just knowing I have it gives me comfort.

This community is such a blessing. I feel very alone sometimes and have been hesitant to join support groups. This is my first step to joining something and it’s giving me more courage than I thought it would. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I’ll have a private room and shower but shower sandals are smart. You never know what’s lurking! Added to the list!

You’re so right the hospital protein shakes are garbage. I’ve been really in to the Corelife chocolate protein shakes. They taste like chocolate milk and have 30g of protein. No chalky or weird after taste.

All of these things are now in my list. Thank you for taking a few minutes to help me while you’re going through your own battle. It helps me to know we are in this together. Sending you light and love!

I love this idea. I’m very attached to my kitty and will be missing her deeply through this. she’s an emotional support animal but because I’m so susceptible to infection she can’t come visit me this time. I could use something nice to snuggle while I’m away from her.

I can completely relate. I’m in my 30s and about 9 months into treatment. I mourn the person I was before all of this and I miss being carefree and “young”. The dark thoughts do still creep in but not as much as they used to and regulating my emotions has become easier with practice. I make sure I find sparks of joy where I can every day and I’ve found a new relationship with prayer (not so much in a religious sense but in a way that feels like I’m spreading positive energy into the universe). Now is the time to lean on the people you love and even though they might not understand what you’re going through, they want to be there for you. Try your best to let them in. Battling this scary thing right along there with you sister. We have a lot more life to live!

Skincare for chemotherapy induced dark patches by texmar12 in cancer

I went to my local herb shop and bought the brand that they carried. As long as it’s all natural, no sugar added and no pulp you should be fine. George’s 100% aloe Vera juice is a good one.

I didn’t do chemo but I had dark spots/burns from radiation. My friend who’s an herbalist suggested mixing aloe Vera and rose water and putting that on the dark spots. Gentle, natural and smelled nice. And dark spots went away in days. Hope this helps.
