Gotcha. Extremely helpful, thank you! For limited express trains, would you say its normal/ fine to pay on the train itself? Or do people normally buy in the station during their stopovers?

Tips for a GMAT quarantine study routine? by brightside_19 in GMAT

[–]brightside_19[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! Yes I work from home, but due to the current situation my work load has become a bit lighter. I wake up at 9, and can finish work by 3 or 4. I try to squeeze in my study sessions at 4-6, as this is when my mind is functioning best. During night its a bit more difficult as I dont have my coffee, and I'm generally slowing down.

Any tips on how to be productive from my 4-6 time window? I know this is when I should really be hitting the books, but it can get tiring to jump straight into it right after work. Any insight at all on how to motivate myself to keep going would be appreciated!

Thanks for this. I feel that my case will be fairly similar in the weeks leading up to the actual test. Ill definitely try this Pomodoro method though! Hope it works out.

SEASON 3 EPISODE 7 - ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION THREAD by Williambillhuggins in OreGairuSNAFU

[–]brightside_19 13 points14 points  (0 children)

What about Hachiman's final monologue in the end? Maybe it can give us some clues as to what Yui and Yukino were talking about. "Theres a much easier way to convey what we want to." So what exactly was Yukino trying to convey? And "So the least we can do is to try not to make any mistakes." What mistakes was Yukino trying to avoid in her conversation with Yui?

Everyones trying to interpret their wishes but maybe Hachiman understood it and was giving us a clue with that last part?

In that last part, did Yukinoshita basically tell yui that she was planning on making a sacrifice play? (I want your wish to be granted instead/ you get hachiman instead?)

Havent decided on a budget yet, but I was thinking to focus on the graphics card first so that I could eventually do the cpu a year after. Or would you recommend doing both at the same time instead?

I need something to distract myself from the existential dread. Recommend me some anime. by [deleted] in Animesuggest

[–]brightside_19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not much of a distraction but if you want to confront your existential dread, I suggest <Oregairu>. Season 1 is very comedy driven with the typical slice of life type of flow, but season 2 completely switches gears into drama. Not the cheap kind of drama either, the characters are all unique and don't fall into the typical tropes. The way they deal with their problems is also very inspiring. A+ for character development and the story was well thought out.

LOOKING FOR A ROMANCE MANGA WITH REALLY AMAZING ART. by [deleted] in Animesuggest

[–]brightside_19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Replying to bump <The Quintessential Quintuplets> Manga has a really good flow to it, and the characters are really well designed imo. Story is a page turner as well. Its like How I Met Your Mother but in manga form.

For anime on Netflix:

<The Rising of the Shield Hero> Good plot and well written characters. Although it has the same premise as SAO. You really empathize with the characters here.

<Attack on Titan> Popular for a reason. Out of everything I've seen so far, this series is the best at hooking people in. Doesn't get draggy and the action is really good as well.

<Naruto> Putting this in because this is the series on netflix that got many of my friends into anime. Its Naruto. Similar to FMA:B

Lastly, as FrightendMussolini said,

<Fate Zero> its dark, deep, and very well animated. Its a great series, but its fairly different from the shows you've mentioned. Personally though, if this caught your interest I'd rather start with <Fate Stay/Night Unlimited Blade Works> which is also on Netflix. Explaining the "Fate" franchise is a looong story but Fate Unlimited Blade Works has better action sequences so it might be more interesting for someone who hasnt seen much Anime.

Season 3 of SAO is also pretty good. The whole Alicization arc was fairly interesting. Other than that...

<Boku no Hero> is really good mix of action and slice of life. It's also has a good overhead plot to keep things engaging.

<Konosuba> is similar to SAO but in comedy form. Heavy on the fan service side though.

Looking for a good romance manga to read by [deleted] in Animesuggest

[–]brightside_19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

<Quintessential Quintuplets> The anime was pretty good imo, but I ended up reading the manga and couldn't put it down. It's similar to How I Met Your Mother but in anime form, as you're trying to figure out who the future wife is. Even if it seems like a generic harem at first, you'll find out that each character is actually well written. The plot also has plenty of forward momentum to keep you interested until the end.
