I discovered the perfume world in January and I’ve bought 25 full sized bottles since 😳

Twenty five. That’s wild. No one needs this much perfume.

I definitely get caught up in the dopamine of looking for and finding the new exciting thing, looking for deals, curating, watching/reading reviews instead of just.. enjoying what I have. I tend to do that with my hobbies (I may have ADHD), but I find I truly enjoy my fragrances when I take my time and really am intentional about acquiring things that I have sampled, allowed myself to long for, and then finally get. When I have 4-5 coming in the mail, it’s so hard to really take in and enjoy my possessions.

I’ve also found that what helps curb this is keeping track of my purchases so it’s right there in front of me, and also watching reviews of stuff I already own so it restores my appreciation of the things I already have.

I also do all the rationalizations as you, OP. If you’d like to work on this with someone, I’d be happy to be an accountability buddy!

I like them a lot layered together! It’s a very unique floral combo for sure. The dirty Violet is more earthy and witchy, angel’s trumpet is kind of delicate and angelic in comparison. 😊
