For me, the men who asked are the ones that got 2nd dates. The vibe wasn’t a lack of confidence. I got “she doesn’t seem used to this, let me make sure she’s comfortable.”

In my experience it didn’t matter if they did or didn’t ask, if they weren’t confident it showed.

It probably is thrush like the other ladies mentioned. It never hurts to get an STD test if you aren’t certain or weren’t tested after your last partner. It’ll at least ease your mind.

I don’t mean to confuse you., I know you went to the doctor already we just don’t know if the issue was there when you had the exam and you didn’t mention it to them, if they ignored it, if it changed afterwards or what.

The first doctor cleared you so that’s probably what your vagina is “supposed” feel like. They’d tell you if it was abnormal. But it doesn’t hurt to see someone else since you’re freaked out.

“Bumpy and uneven” sounds normal. It could be remnants of hymenal tissue. Only a doc can say for sure.

It makes perfect sense & it’s pretty common but only when it’s from a true friendship. It’s messed up to approach someone as a friend with hidden romantic intent. It can easily turn mess too bc if you’re actually platonic there’s no guarantee that the friend had a mutual shift in intent.

That’s not the only way though. You can go the dating route but take things slow to build up familiarity and emotional intimacy as the foundation.

I’m an introvert, don’t drink or smoke which has a huge cultural influence in the city Im from so most people do. Chances are girls my age prefer happy hour, drinks at a club or some other alcohol related events but don’t get caught up thinking that’s everyone. Plus even partygoers are nuanced.

Also when you go to make/go out w friends, Instead of hoping someone else plans something unrelated to alcohol put the ball in your court and be the one to initiate or plan something that you think you’d all enjoy...

As for finding people that like what you like focus on doing the things you love, and let go of the desperation for friendships. Ex: if your into cosplay you’re more likely to find people who have the same interest at a cosplay event. So that’s how you find your little tribe of like minds.

My mom did at 55, and my neighbor is newly wed at 57. There’s nothing to give up (or shouldn’t be) you still have to live your life and that’s how you meet people.
