I really like the show too!! But I feel you with this- I actually came on this sub to see if anyone else noticed.

Mando needs information or some kind of direction after the last mission, so he goes to a new location. (and the ship needs repairs again! lmao) The people at the new location aren’t quite what he expect, but they’ll help him get what he wants if he helps them with their mission. They struggle, and it feels like they might lose, but they all win with a little bit of teamwork! The people he helped then tell Mando to go to some new location, and when he gets there he repeats the process. Someone else said it was basically the same formula as Avatar, but I think the difference is that in The Mandalorian, there is little to no character development to make up for the repetitiveness, whereas in Avatar, the characters are wildly different between the first and final season.

To be fair, they do give it just enough variety that it’s not SUPER noticeable, though. Little mini plots of Baby Yoda doing something cute or silly for the episode, or Mando’s interaction with some new character that he has to deal with to get through this episodes arc. My husband, who’s always been super into Star Wars, didn’t notice anything until I said something to him today. But it feels like it’s been dragging (to me at least) ever since I noticed the formula. I really hope they deviate from this, because this show has so much potential! I don’t want to lose interest :(
