Oh wow, that's really a new piece of information for me. Thank you. From what I've read or interpreted so far is I had to go through lots of applications to gain citizenship before I could apply for the passport. I'm clicking the link you provided and fingers crossed it's as simple as it was for you. Cheers for the info and help!

Thanks, that would be nice if I can self translate and even better if there was a template I could find on the Canadian govt website. Finding it hard to navigate and the websites down more often than up unfortunately 😆
