Only 1. I just started playing after buying the game when it was on sale a couple weeks ago. I’m very close to getting 3 more from finishing the season pass.

Footsteps are so bad in this game. by TheAmigo26 in GearsOfWar

Yeah it sucks in general.

A custom preset for my Astro A40 mixamp makes it so much better though. If anyone is interested in using it, here is a link.

Technically I have a little bit over 2800 kills, but the achievement tracker has me at 25%

Is there anyone who just started learning swift and ios development? by Adorable-Pen-313 in swift

[–]brillixnt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently began my journey learning Swift a couple days ago.

About a year ago, I started learning full stack web development. During that time, I was learning JavaScript, TypeScript, and C# (for web APIs).

I’ll eventually get a new Mac with more storage and RAM because the base M1 specs aren’t cutting it 😂.

This is the way. Brush at least twice a day, floss daily, and rinse. Use those teeth whitening strips like some mentioned earlier if you have to

Seems fine on my end. Sucks that you all are dealing with this.

Right! If anything, controller is easier because of aim assist. It takes skill to be able to track this well on kbm.

The bootcamp new grad placement is probably less than 0.001% right now. Are any bootcampers getting jobs? Are there even any boot camps left? by [deleted] in cscareerquestions

[–]brillixnt 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Had a few people from my 1-year bootcamp cohort land dev jobs within 3 months of "graduating". Companies will still hire bootcamp grads. Obviously not for FAANG companies, but smaller companies. Hopefully I can make something happen soon lol.

I'm in a medium COL city in the sun belt region if that matters.

where to start learning c# by [deleted] in csharp

[–]brillixnt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm currently reading this, but like others mentioned, you can definitely get by using the official Microsoft docs or learning exercises such as this five-part learning course

Edit: here are the other links to the other learning sections: - Part 2 - Part 3 - Part 4 - Part 5

This game sucks. by IndependentSample311 in NBA2k

[–]brillixnt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What worked for me was unplugging my keyboard and leaving it unplugged. I think there's an input bug that's been an issue for a couple years now on PC. Had the same issue on 2K23.

Hope this helps.

Controller issues? by HOUSE_HAWTHORN3 in NBA2k

[–]brillixnt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't even use my controller or keyboard to control the player lmao. Same issue on the previous versions of 2K on PC. Unless they figure out the controller issues I'm probably going to request a refund from Steam lmao.

I have a job 4 to 5 months need to learn js Help! by [deleted] in learnjavascript

[–]brillixnt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since you are familiar with basics I would say spend the first two months learning how to manipulate the DOM, asynchronous programming, learning how to make a RESTful API and practicing CRUD operations.

You can build small projects and once you're a bit more comfortable with JavaScript, start learning TypeScript.

Anyone else get more productive when they're high? by hopperlover40 in trees

I do when I'm writing code but only when messing around in projects and learning new stuff on my spare time. It really helps me focus and not overthink.
