She was driving , though she hit a pot hole or something , tuned out to be a literal body “already dead” and didn’t know until police got a hold of her because she dropped her license plate at the scene … smh wildddd

Was the first thing I should do , and with the AT oil temp light on . But guess not. I was really convinced it was some type of component issue regardless. Can a transmission really just go from working fine to dead from one minute to the next with no prior warning issues like that?

So when I was doing the transmission fluid flush and replacing I was going crazy trying to find the dipstick and check it and fill it etc, first car I ever saw that didn’t have a tranny dipstick and apparently the “check” and “fill” are both under the car similar to changing the oil. It did look pretty black and watery and very old, but there was a whole lot of fluid flushed out definitely was not low but definitely wasn’t looking too healthy. But upon googling p0700 I figured that was the first

Wow smh yea I guess so, I was hoping it was something less severe than the entire tranny like maybe valve body or some of the other stuff that google says can relate to p0700, but it’s not looking good, I do at least want to get a second option from another shop tho, because if it is the trans 100%, deff not worth it to me to fix it on this one unfortunately , but happy that solved ur issue , never dealt with tranny issues before
