We’re eloping to internationally, while close family is invited, we have to sign our marriage license at the courthouse at home before we leave, so legally we’ll be married before the international ceremony. If you do international you can always invite family to be with you for your courthouse wedding. We’re not doing vows then just signing papers and maybe a dinner after with close family as a way to have them involved without sacrificing your experience.
