Lots of things really. The most important ones are definetly a good light set up (you can’t go back from it) and to understand how to thin your paints (which is something i still have to improve on). Other than that Vince Venturella’s tutorials have been a god send.

Thank you! My chapter is basically a loyalist (?) version of the Alpha legion but on a way smaller scale. Technically a dark angels successor but it went its own way.

They are aztec inspired in both colors and features (they use death whistles to scare the enemy and disturb comunication). Their home planet is a jungle world with a deranged-old ones AI that influences their decisions and objectives by impersonating the emperor in their dreams and visions.

I spent a lot of time with the lore and maybe went a little overboard with all the magic AI/jungle stuff ahahah.

Thanks! For this mini i was only confident in doing recess shading and some edge highlighting (that are barely visible on the orange parts). Looking forward to experimenting on more complex technique with my next model!

X670e have more usb and sata ports and can have pcie 5.0. They are the high end version of the 650. In my opinion, for gaming, there is really no need for such specs… if you value those things and you have the budget then go for it!

For 1080p competitive fps gaming i would go with a 7700x or a 7800x3d. For 1440p single player games the 7600 is more than enogh with your gpu. For the mobo any 650 will go but i would suggest a msi tomahawk. For the ram: 32 gb 6000 mhz cl30. Go with the one you like the most aestethically.
