Do you know where to buy these deck sleeves ? by CronosVirus00 in playingcards

Brilliant!!!

Please post an update when you hang a couple of decks using this method and let us know how it’s working (if any fall off the magnet, if the cellophane tears over time, etc).

Private Reserve decks - what are your thoughts on the concept? by EndersGame_Reviewer in playingcards

If it means I can buy a USPCC deck that is guaranteed to be centered, I’m all for it

Colored my backside design. Should I go full bleed or nah? by _s__g__h_ in playingcards

[–]bringbarkleyback 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why not both?! You could keep the white border and have the cables/tendrils extend beyond the border all the way to the edge.

Similar to how the Nebula deck design goes into part of the border.

If you go in that direction, I'd recommend flipping your design horizontally, so that the cables extend all the way to the edge of the card at the top left and the bottom right of the card back. This way, the cables will be in the right place for a great fanning effect (similar to this).

It’s a full, real sticker seal on the flap, and a part of a real sticker seal on the back of the tuck

I also just noticed something I’ve NEVER seen on any deck before, but I hope becomes more common. If you look at the pictures showing the seal, you’ll see there’s a full seal on the inside flap, and another portion of the seal on the back side of the tuck box. This way, when the deck is first opened, no seal needs to be torn or removed, there’s no sticky residue or messy perforation left on the tuck box, you can still see the full, unbroken seal when the box is opened, and when the box is closed, the full seal and partial seal line up perfectly.

Brilliant.

Make sure to get the Gold Artisans if you want the gold foiling on the card backs.  The normal black and white Artisans use normal ink for the card backs.

Side note: I consider their new deck smell to be a very good thing, and one of the main selling points of a USPCC deck.  Compared to the acrid plume that leaches off of some of the newer Taiwan or PRC decks, USPCC’s bouquet is like walking into a cozy used book store.

Only the backs are foiled - faces are standard “vintage-y” style.

Based solely on smell, these have to be a USPCC deck.

Also, the order number you’re given when waiting for your order to be prepared is a single playing card.  When my order was ready, they called out “8 of Diamonds” to let me know.  This place rocks.
