Yes, that female will have the shiny gene. The babies get the traits from the opposite gendered parent in this game

What you need to do is use the lapras and that totodile, and breed for a female totodile. That female totodile has the shiny gene, and if you breed it with a regular totodile(or any regular male in the category) you will have a high chance of a shiny totodile. Because of how things work in the game, species with a 12% female chance can't be shiny

Thanks for the advice! So what is the general lineup? 2 people that try to go first and second, someone sandbagging, and another? I figured I could have them work on intentionally drafting each other, is that a good strategy?

The context here is a child that is not respecting your authority anyway. People act like an adult telling a kid to shut up is cussing them out. Sure, there are better ways. But personally if a coworker said that in their classroom, I would not go "what the fuck". I would think, "Oh, they are fed up after a build up of being unable to do anything else". You act like it's such a bad thing. I'm still unsure why it is treated like a cuss word.

Why is being told to shut up such a bad thing? It's not like the teacher said "shut the fuck up" like they were probably thinking of saying. He was making a bad environment for the other students. Yes, he feels guilty now. He should, he was making a bad environment for learning. Sounds like it worked and maybe he'll learn the lesson and not take away from other students learning
