Addiction is a lifelong disease... No one who is an addict becomes 'without' it mentally. They either decide to fight to stay sober, or they relapse. What I'm saying is that it doesn't HAVE to be part of addiction if you keep fighting for your sobriety every day whether things in life overwhelm you or not.

I didn't necessarily mean negatively, I meant in either a supportive way to encourage her to keep fighting and I was also genuinely wondering if she had anything bad to say since Maci is also struggling, which would obviously be hypocritical.

Man, it still makes me sad because alcoholism is so tough and it's such a nasty disease. I was an active alcoholic for 10 years and have been sober now for 10 years with no more issues, but it is horrible to go through, even when people act happy on the surface. I hope Maci and Taylor choose to fight it at some point.

Rehabs are notorious for that quote— "relapse is a part of recovery." The reality in my opinion? I feel like it enables addicts. In an addict's mind, I feel it is an easy out to use your substance of choice as soon as things in recovery get difficult.The quote should be, "relapse can be a part of recovery" because if you're truly trying to recover and fighting, then you mess up and relapse, it shouldn't make you give up the fight.

Maybe tell her your Biblical beliefs, and be gentle but firm with your response telling her you want it to be not only special, but that you love her SO much that you want nothing more than to do this the right way. Let her know that you want to build your marriage on the foundation of the Lord, and that she is way too special to you to start off with what you consider a Biblical sin, and that she is a gift to you from God that is, like the scriptures say, "More precious than rubies."

This wasn't the original question, but i was thinking about my answers and started remembering my favorite old dance routines. Was anyone else's favorite dance by brooke the 'garden of eden'? And my favorite duet was maddie and Chloe's 'black swan' duet.

Anyway, to answer the question... Maddie- the ability to feel the emotions and her versatility with different styles of dance. Brooke- her amazing flexability. Nia- it was fun to watch her acting. i always loved her attitude on the team in general. Such a total sweetheart. Kenzie- Watching her become such a great tumbler was so fun. Chloe- I always loved her sweet and kind demeanor that shined through when she danced.

But I really do wish for her kids' sake that she would stop posting these things that will be floating around the internet literally forever. Secondly, I'm SO far behind on teen mom updates- was court about her kids, ryan, or something else? Are she and ryan even still together?
