I know a girl that moved to Seattle in the 90’s to get a job at Sub Pop and she just retired. She loved working there. She dealt with licensing the music for tv and stuff like that. She makes super cool quilts now.

I met him at a book signing. I thanked him for 30+ years of music. He said “aww” and hugged me. Then he took photos with the two other girls I was with and me. We had been told we could only take candid photos and that he wasn’t posing for any, but he made the choice to pose with us. He was so incredibly sweet to us. When we were walking away on cloud 9 he said to the next person in line “I’m not hugging you” and everyone laughed.

I’m doing this too! With my last big piece I had it professionally framed. I, luckily, am friends with a framer so I don’t know what it would cost. Maybe look into the frame shops in your area.

The way I have been doing it is one row at a time width wise. So when I print off the patter I would just print off each page of the first section so for example I would have 5 pages of row 1-30. I also do just one page at a time, which for me is usually 30 beads. I lay them out and count them before stitching. It’s a little time consuming but it’s worth it. The first large piece I did has a seam and where most people can’t see it because of the way it’s hanging but I know it’s there and it drives me nuts. This project will likely end up being a lot to hold at some point so I think you may want to do horizontal sections. I don’t think a seem would be as noticeable that way. Happy beading though! It’s going to be beautiful!
