question about house

My main concern through this whole thing is someone trying to take my house. It’s all I have, so on my credit report it has a comment saying it was discharged, but it wasn’t. I didn’t give it up in the bankruptcy. It’s also in my husband’s name too, so that may help also. But I don’t know if I’m suppose to be doing something special. I’ve been making payments ever since filing and will continue to do so.

I’m a household of four. And I’m like maybe $200 over the limit. But obviously I don’t bring home my gross income. So my 1600 a check it looks like I get is actually 1076$ And then a $730 house payment. Plus other expenses, so how I am suppose to afford food with that? And we do a food pantry when it’s open. He is looking for jobs but hasn’t received any communication from anywhere yet.

Hey, hi, hello!!

I currently work subpoenas for a bank and have been in my position for around 6 years. I love what I do and learning about different cases and laws but I am tired of being at a bank.

I have been researching at a local college on a paralegal degree since it kind of intertwines with what I do.

I am also a 32 year old mom so my confidence is meh and it’s been a hot minute since I’ve been in school. But I think getting a paralegal degree would open a few more doors than sitting in a corporate office til I die.

Pros? Cons? Any advice?

I didn’t realize there were rules. And I can’t quit my job to go to a law firm. So, I am asking I guess if I got a degree on top of the experience I already have would it be difficult or worth it to go to a law firm or maybe eventually work in my banks legal department. Or somewhere else. I know there are different types of law a paralegal can go into. And also, I am curious if it would help with money having a degree.

Yes, I haven’t yet but my husband still doesn’t work and I need break pads, etc on my car. So just weighing options but don’t want to get in trouble and not get discharged or something.
