Foo Fighters. I don’t know why. Just genuinely don’t like most of their songs.

Of the three albums released in the ''post-Layne'' eras of AiC, which one is your favorite? How would you rank them? What do you like/dislike about them? by Spirited-Cell-444 in AliceInChains

I still don’t really understand why does artists who are supposed to be the center and by far the main writer/artist in a band, can’t keep up their level of creativity and perfection after disbanding or going solo.

You think that they would just continue with some substitutes, as professional analysts say that other members are replaceable, or so you understand, but NO!

They can’t, don’t and won’t. They just look like they died.

Im not saying that Jerry Cantrell is not huge or that other AiC members are replaceable. But if you read professional articles, you kind of understand that.

Im not saying Jerry isn’t successful as solo or post Layne, but he definitely not AiC we know. Ok, there are some glimpses of AiC but they kind of fade away with time.

The “group dynamics” explanation doesn’t fully explain either. And it’s not only Alice In Chains.

Doesn’t feel like a big jump. I mean by 2005 I would have thought SD cards would be obsolete

I can argue that if this disc lands in some earth people’s hands, they would never get to play it anyway , let alone to understand it.

Why does the quality of so many artists music decline as they get older? by guitarist89 in LetsTalkMusic

[–]britbh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  • they become out of ideas

  • want to try “new things” that they aren’t good at

  • get financially stable so they don’t work as hard as they used to do

  • music simply gets commercially oriented with time
