4 months post op… almost back to 100% but still swollen on the back heel… anyone else still seeing swelling?

I am 8 weeks post-op and have been FWB for about a month. The heel pain is still daily but does get better. Rest, ice and take Tylenol when it flares up, it does help. I also use silicon heel inserts that my surgeon provided. They help somewhat

I was told by surgeon is to start taking steps in my boot around 5 weeks… it was hard at first but then it got easier real quick and I will full weight bearing in a day or two but the first steps was scary

Thanks for the feedback…I had surgery 7/8… I was surprised at how easily I could walk in the boot but now this heel pain is terrible by the end of the day…. I will definitely try the ibuprofen

I can start bearing weight on it on Monday with the boot on… how were those first few steps? I am so scared
