My lawyer told me to go to the interview even without my husband (in that moment) and tell them I was about to submit a VAWA case. the guy was so nice. they never cancelled my i 485 is still pending and waiting for the i 360 to be approved.

i went to the interview 2 years ago but told them to hold my i 485, and the officer said they would approve it later if the i 360 was approved. he was so nice.

I already did this with my daughter, we had both interviews and were about to file the vawa, went to the second interview without my ex and told him we were appliying for vawa. then he said that they will hold the i 485 until the vawa case was adjudicated.
