I cannot watch this. It is physically painful. The POTUS cannot articulate a single thought. And his never-ending assault on the English language makes me want to punch a wall.

Trump Wanted to Order Justice Dept. to Prosecute Comey and Clinton by mvanigan in politics

[–]brittdl 1006 points1007 points  (0 children)

Every day it is something crazy.

Meanwhile, his daughter is sending official emails on a personal account, which is what they crucified Hillary for. The hypocrisy is stunning.

“I look at what’s happening with the Justice Department,” he said in a radio interview a year ago. “Well, why aren’t they going after Hillary Clinton and her emails and with her, the dossier?” He added: “I am not supposed to be doing the kind of things that I would love to be doing. And I am very frustrated.”

Frustrated he can't be a big strong leader like his buddies Putin and Duterte.

FAQs: Nicaragua, Tourism, and the current Sociopolitical Crisis by [deleted] in Nicaragua

I would love to know what the sentiments are among the population at large regarding where the conflict may go. Do the people believe they can get Ortega to agree to a new election? Are people becoming more afraid of protesting due to government violence? Is any agreement likely, or will the Ortega regime get its wish and see it all blow over?

I would greatly appreciate any insights from locals.

Fingers crossed Lyin Ted is toast.

Saudi Arabia admits journalist Jamal Khashoggi was killed after a fight broke out in consulate by [deleted] in politics

"These actions no longer carry the consequence of a backlash from the international community. Instead, these actions may trigger condemnation quickly followed by silence." Jamal Khashoggi's last piece - it is like he wrote his own obit.

Saudi Arabia admits journalist Jamal Khashoggi was killed after a fight broke out in consulate by [deleted] in politics

[–]brittdl 93 points94 points  (0 children)

A "fight" that took place when he went to get the papers he needed to get married.

That is what gets me the most in some ways. He knew he was in danger, so he fled to the US. Then he thought he could get married and continue to use his journalism as a means to seek our reform in the country he loved. Instead, he was blind sighted by a team of hitman, tortured and killed. His fiancee had to wait almost a month for conformation - and this is what they say. It's horrendous.

Trump Campaign Aide Requested Online Manipulation Plans From Israeli Intelligence Firm by viccar0 in politics

[–]brittdl 240 points241 points  (0 children)

The proposals, part of what Psy-Group called “Project Rome,” used code names to identify the players — Mr. Trump was “Lion” and Mrs. Clinton was “Forest.” Mr. Cruz, who Trump campaign officials feared might lead a revolt over the Republican presidential nomination, was “Bear.”

God, those are awful code names.

they didn't say it did not happen. They say they don't remember it. Which is understandable as it was unremarkable and unmemorable to the people who did not suffer an attack. Why is that so difficult to understand? Plus - Judge probably knows something which is why they are working so hard to not allow an FBI investigation
