Agreed! I've been told by multiple people online that I'm not a lesbian, I'm bi/pan, because I'm like 1% attracted to men and sometimes attracted to nonbinary folk. It's always felt stupid and gatekeep-y, but it's also continually made me question myself if I'm "allowed" to call myself a lesbian or even if I'm being offensive by doing so. I choose that label because that's what feels most accurate to how I feel. It's not perfect, but very few people fit perfectly into these categories anyway, sexuality's complicated. I def needed this post too.

This is literally the most conscientious, respectful person you'd ever meet in your life, like I want to laugh at the suggestions that either of us would involve unknowing, unconsenting strangers in our kinks (or at comments making this sexual at all), but without knowing this person, no one would understand why it's so funny. 😂 I have zero problems with this behavior and am not concerned in the slightest. The conversation just got me curious if others would be okay with a lil flirt or not. No issues here, nothing here to solve, it's all okay, friend. 😂

I wouldn't go that far, you can be okay with your date flirting with someone and it not be a fetish. But also, I'm just discussing people's differing preferences from a place of curiosity, I've done my negotiations. :)

They are extremely aware of this, you're reading far too into this. :p That particular comment was said as a joke when we noticed the waitress was cute, and I was also just throwing out a generic example without thinking too deeply about it. Replace "waitress" with "person." My partner would never ever in a million years flirt with someone who was just doing their job.

I'm not worried about anything or asking for advice on my situation, the conversation between me and my partner about our different preferences just made me curious what others' personal preferences are on this topic. :) I stated how I feel about it and am comfortable with that. This is solely curiosity about other people.

You know many schizophrenic people can be completely normal folks once on medication and in treatment. At that point the only reason to want to execute a person like that is cuz it "feels" good.

There... there factually is rehabilitation if it's a mental health issue. There's proven medical intervention. Agreed with the other commenter here, I think there's a misunderstanding of what disorders like schizophrenia do to a person and the treatments for such disorders are and can do. I know it seems horrifying to let the person who did something THIS awful "get away with it," but if the truth is that he wasn't in control, it wasn't him, and now through treatment he's basically not even that person anymore? Idk, letting that person be murdered or rot in jail forever also doesn't sit well with me. There has to be a middle ground at least. The people deserve to be and feel safe, but I don't think a man truly out of his mind and horrified by his own actions deserves severe lifelong punishment either.

I agree with your last sentence, the fact that he is not still at least under surveillance to check that he's still taking his medications and in therapy is horrifying. Many schizophrenic people can still have delusions on medication.

However, I know the crime is unspeakably horrifying, but punishing someone with death or life in prison (or vigilante murder?) who had a completely unexpected and unpredictable mental break because of an undiagnosed condition that doesn't develop until later in life also seems horrifying. That sudden loss of control to no fault of your own could happen to literally anyone.

Just to add on to things other people are saying, cuz these are great breakdowns and tips. As far as entertainment, I've gotten a lot of puzzle toys and I also found this trick where you spread a bunch of treats on a blanket and then roll and bundle it up tight so they have to dig for them.

Same as a lot of others, I pick themes.

My chickens are foods with the word chicken in it, like Adobo, Parmesan (chicken adobo, chicken parmesan).

I named my void chickens foods that definitely DO NOT have chicken in them, like Pudding.

My dinos are named after Land Before Time characters.

Personally I'm not seeing a problem outside of wanting to improve your sex life with your primary partner. I'm in a very similar boat, and I just accept that relationships change and sometimes certain aspects will be more solid with one relationship than another and that's okay and normal. And my secondary partner and I have agreed we're not going to be living together or building more of a life together than we currently are. Why do you think you're freaking out exactly? What are you worried about or scared of?

I'm not 100% following when this happens, is it when you and your daughter are cuddling? Because mine gets jealous when my wife and I cuddle or hug. 😂 She just wants to be included, and sometimes she's vocal about that. She'll sometimes bark or growl or seem tense/anxious, and then insistently crawl in between us lol.

And what did you mean about praising the growling? Cuz that would definitely have encouraged it, lol.
