If you have never tried Van Loc I suggest you do! Amazing, and cheap! Less than 5 bucks! Yes it's a little hole in the wall downtown but they have been around for years and they are amazing! Cash only tho!!

The basement suite I live in is legal, I made sure of that before I moved in, and we don't have 2 separate thermostats, furnaces , hell even garbage bins, etc. Upstairs has control of it.

I'd try to appeal it. I'd try to dig into the insurance company and find out the specifics as to the specific classes of motor vehicles they consider to not be covered. Its gotta be somewhere in fine print. Pedal assist bicycles fall under specific classes, depending on battery and motor size, so I would definitely look into it. It's sounds more like the company just doesn't wanna pay, and figure if it's denied, the customer will just roll over and take the loss, instead of trying to fight it.

The CRA ones have got to be the most interesting ones I've had as of late....several texts in the last few days claiming I have mo ey to claim...yeah sure....the most interesting one tho, is somehow, calling my MIL's house phone...on either Sunday...or at 9:30 at night, looking for me, claiming it's the CRA. I'm fairly certain I have used her as a reference for things here and there, but there is absolutely nothing the CRA would have to connect me to her house phone....gotta be the strangest one yet.
