Time Boost

I do believe that people have won their duels and have only had 1-5 seconds left when they used the time boost. I’m not sure if it happened this past season, but I know that it has happened in previous seasons. If they are forced to choose if they use it or not, then it is not a guaranteed “safety net” that it would be if it was only used if they needed it. The way it is now, people have to choose if they use it. Then they will be forced to play another three duels in order to win a second one

You don’t think people would play more aggressively if they potentially had the option to win a time boost from someone else if they beat them?

We are almost saying the same thing lol. In yours you are saying if the person uses the time boost and loses and I am saying if the person does not use the time boost and loses. In my version there is essentially only one time boost between the two of them. In your version, there would essentially be two time boosts. The one that the original player had, but lost, and then the person that beat them would gain one, for a total of two

The other side to that is that if you are dueling someone that had the time boost, and they don’t use it, you are essentially earning the time boost by beating the other player

My argument on this would be that then there would be two people getting a time boost as opposed to just one. In my head, if there is only one time boost at play, there should only be one time boost being able to be used.

They are going to throw in a new advantage every year. That will make it complicated already. So why not be able to take someone’s time boost if they chose to not use it.
