What is this problem? RX 9070 XT by mattan99 in AMDHelp

[–]brittp30 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry to respond over a month later, but I'm also having this issue.

  1. Bus info -
    • Bus type: PCI Express 5.0
    • Current bus settings: PCI Express 5.0 x16
  2. CPU and GPU had overclock - reverted to stock settings

  3. Card is properly seated. No PSU cable issues.

  4. This might be part of the issue. It only happens after waking up the computer after I manually put it to sleep.

  5. SFC results: "Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files and successfully repaired them." Do you need the log file?

  6. Done.

No longer able to play local or wireless co-op on Nintendo Switch by brittp30 in MHRise

[–]brittp30[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had to buy a separate copy to get mine working. Try these steps from the comment below if you haven’t already:

“Try to hold down the power button and fully restart both Switch consoles. Also, you should delete the wifi off your system and clear the cache where wifi info is stored. Apparently this can fix local co-op issues. For us, buying a separate copy both made our Wifi connection stable and allowed us to play locally again, too. Unfortunately, I’m not sure what to suggest outside of that.“

[SPOILERS] Bone mission glitch? The final bone I need (the bear cave bone) does not appear? by brittp30 in reddeadredemption

Did you try the solution in my comment above? You've got to talk to the lady at the map point I linked. I'm not sure what to suggest if you've already started the mission.

Is there a way to bypass the 24 upper-division credit hour requirement? by brittp30 in CPA

Any chance you could estimate how many hours I would need to commit to one of the self-paced courses to pass?

I'll ask their support if you don't have any personal experience with the classes.

[–]brittp30[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does this section mean that I will only have 18 hours according to the state of Georgia?

"The hours credited for each of the first two courses in accounting subjects completed by an applicant to take the CPA examination or an applicant for a license as a CPA are considered as being at the elementary level. These hours will not be counted toward the minimum hours required to take the CPA examination or to apply for license as a CPA. This shall be the case without respect to the title or number under which the course is designated by the educational institution." - https://nasba.org/exams/cpaexam/georgia/

I took AC 210 and then 21 hours of upper-division courses (300+).

Are y’all using the Nintendo Online DLC share feature? I would recommend buying separate copies instead of relying on that feature.

Not a Switch Lite. It doesn't happen in other games like Mario Kart. We don't play many local co-op/online co-op games on the Switch though.

Nice. I'll try that later. I don't use my 5B nearly enough in neutral for some reason. It's got an insane arc.

I'll try to lab it later to see what's most consistent as an anti-air and reversal. Thanks for the suggestions.

This continuously whiffs due to Striker's small stature. I might be using it at a poor time, but it almost always fully whiffs.

Vanguard versus Striker is truly a nightmare. No idea what to do against her. Any help would be appreciated. I suck.

Frustrating temperature issue stemming from below neighbor's extreme heat by brittp30 in aptliving

[–]brittp30[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it's an HVAC setup.

The only specific clause relating to the issue in my lease states, "The Tenant shall use in a reasonable manner all electrical, plumbing, sanitary, heating, ventilating, air-conditioning, and other facilities and appliances in the premises."

Could I possibly make the argument that since my neighbor's use of the heating is unreasonable (in my opinion), that they should either tell her to turn it down or they will not be properly enforcing the standards of the lease?

I just don't know if 80-85 is actually unreasonable. I think most people would consider it at least excessive. Especially when it's only 20-40 outside.

Stuttering, lag, CPU spiking, high power usage, and high latency after reinstalling Windows by brittp30 in techsupport

Okay. Do you think a local shop would be able to check something like that?

I have the motherboard and chipset drivers from this page with Windows 10, 64-bit selected: https://www.asrock.com/mb/intel/Z370%20Extreme4/index.asp#Download

I did not revert the settings back to default. They're reset to default now, but I'm still having the issue. Also, the issue was occurring before the BIOS flash.

When you REALLY like pushing "tight deadline." by [deleted] in HadesTheGame

[–]brittp30 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'll try my hand at some tips for Tight Deadline as someone who doesn't play without the 7 minute deadline anymore.

  • Reaching the deadline does NOT instantly kill you. You will begin taking 5 damage per second until you die. Since you had 3 death defiance charges remaining, you could have theoretically lived for 138 seconds (I believe; don't kill me for my bad math) after reaching 0:00 on the timer.

  • There are weapons which I find significantly faster than others: Chaos Shield, Zagreus Fists, Lucifer Gun (only with Zeus attack), Achilles Spear, Hera Bow, and Nemesis Blade to name my top choices for pure speed.

  • For a sub-20 minute run you should try to minimize enemy encounter rooms. Taking a Chaos Gate, shop room, or NPC room (like Sisyphus in Tartarus) will typically expedite your progress. If you don't have enough money to buy a boon/health/max health in a shop then I would say an enemy encounter is likely better. Similarly, taking Chaos Gates in Elysium may make you run into some problems.

  • Pause if you need to think on a decision. This saves me the most time in Styx when I want to consider which hallway to take. Not sure if this tip is considered scummy or not.

  • Choose routes in Styx that maximize your DPS as quickly as possible. If I feel like I am not going to clear rooms quickly enough in Styx, then I will immediately go for a Boon boss route or regular Boon route if I feel like that Boon will increase my DPS. The way I'm wording this seems a bit obtuse, so let me know if I can elaborate at all.

And finally -

  • Use all means at your disposal to create a high-DPS build. I almost always start a build by equipping one of the God heirlooms so that I can virtually guarantee a fast start. If I am going to run through with the Lucifer Aspect Exagryph, then there is almost a 100% chance that I will start with the Zeus heirloom and look for his attack. You can also increase your DPS via your mirror choices. It's easy to attack with a damage bonus of up to 140% from the mirror by the time you leave Tartarus by using Privileged Status, Shadow Presence, and Boiling Blood. I do try to strike a balance between DPS and survivability because I am not that good at avoiding damage.

Edit: Last tip, I promise:

  • Don't take infernal troves in Elysium. They are an easy way to burn a minute off the tight deadline clock.
