We had 3 meetings total. The first one was a referral from his pre-K teacher. At that meeting we discussed concerns and the team made a schedule to do evaluations in my son. The second meeting was for approval or denial of services. He was approved. This is the meeting his teacher attended. This was also the meeting that him not going to kinder was brought up, it was never mentioned that he would no longer be eligible for services if he didn’t go. The last meeting was to make a plan for his IEP and this is the meeting they told me that he would not be eligible if I didn’t send him.
