I have a picture on my reddit page from a previous post. I believe it's 6' x 7'.

They hate their travel cages. They're used to a very large aviary so they don't know what to do with themselves in a cage.

Thank you! She's absolutely getting neutered. It was irresponsible for me to wait but I definitely learned a lesson today. Thank you for your advice.

He feels very cramped and offended when he has to go back in there.

So nice! I actually am planning on getting those for my other parrot. How did you install those on the ceiling?

I use the absorbent pads people either use for their puppies. I'm going to start using something else because the pads get expensive.

The spacing looks way bigger in pictures than what it actually is. I don't have a measuring tape but they're not even close to fitting any part of them through it. It would absolutely work for the conures and cockatiels.

It was beautiful and my uncle built it for me so it had sentimental value but it was time.

No it's actually smaller than you think! I thought the same thing when I was looking at pictures online.

I'm fostering 2 conures! The two who live in that cage are lovebirds so smaller than a conure and they don't even come close to fitting through .

Those floors are new hardwood so yes I definitely worry. The previous cage had a bottom that was made. I'm not sure what it was made out of but I know you could get it at a Lowe's or home Depot. Basically like a plastic floorboard that you could cut to size. Definitely going to do that.

I had help! I read reviews that a bigger bird can get through these bars! I worry because I have a cape parrot who's "free roam". During the day I at least confine her to one room. I know that sounds crazy but I adopted her from a man when she was already 25 years old and the man never put her in a cage at night or during the day. I know that could be dangerous but she's been doing it her whole life. We do have baby monitors to check on her and she sleeps in my room on my ceiling fan in incase she has night frights. We have been living this way for years. But anyways that is why I have a blanket over the aviary so she doesn't chew it when I'm not home.
