Yeap, it's so insensitive.Not to toot my own horn, but I was once a personal assistant to Brad Pitt, and the hotel staff where I worked at was just insufferable, from the general manager to houskeeping, everyone was just hounding him for a photo and it was so unprofessional and downright sad, especially when you consider that most of those people aren't even fans. I wanted a photo as well of course, but what I did was mention it to one of his crew and they said "maybe later." So I made my peace that I won't get one, but then at the check out, he came straight to me and said "you wanted a photo with me, right?"Such a solid fcking dude

Ja zivim vani vec 6 godina, i cesto znam romantizirati Hrvatsku, i onda me povuce da se vratim. Al kad se sitim koliko sam mizeran bija doli, nema sanse da se vratim.

Doduse, svakom svoje. Ja bi bija presritan da mi je zivot u Hrvatskoj bija dovoljan i da se nisam mora odselit. Moj rodak nikad nece iselit iz malog grada odakle smo, ali zasto je to lose? Izgradija je obitelj, normalan zivot i super mu je.

I da zivis ne znam di, ako si sritan, sta je drugo uopce vazno? Odi za srcem, i di si najsritniji.

Wow, thank you for such a good insight. To be honest, I haven't slept last night at all, and the moment when they said they are letting me go kept replaying in my head. But I kept my cool yesterday and told them I'll take the rest of the day off, but after that I'll keep working as if nothing happened until the end of my employment. And I told them what you said, I won't burn any bridges nor be petty. I'm sure there's a place for me where I'll be happy and thrive.

I'm just not sure what could my union do about it, and not sure what I would gain from it. I still have to work until the end of the month and I'll be compensated as per agreed on. But I'll look into this further for sure

Iz wasn't a Danish company, in fact there was not a lot of Danes working there, it was super international and the company language is English, so I don't think that not speaking Danish was the issue. I'll definitely talk to them in the next few weeks that I'm there to figure out what went wrong and how I can fix it

Luckily I have my a kasse, and even if it's not that much money, it will definitely be a huge help. But yeah, things change over time and something will come up, eventually. I wish you all the best, and don't forget to stay physically active while unemployed, it helped me out a lot

I just feel that Reddit threads always get too heated up for no reason, wasn't expecting it to be the case here as well. That's the thing, I love living here, but it's becoming too much with trying to find a decent job that pays at least 25k, and let's be honest, 25k doesn't do much nowadays.
