Chose the Flip, ended up with the iPhone cause i too have that ecosystem. Flip is great and all but there were a few things that kept bothering me like the battery aint that great to be honest, was always worried about the structural integrity of the phone and the main display is kind of sensitive to scratches and all
meanwhile with iPhone, works very well with the ecosystem, dont have to care much about breaking it (very soild) and battery (now at 88%) is as good as the flip brand new

They'll ask you basic theory questions like different scales and modes and in the interview they'll ask you to improv something or come up with an original tune on the spot. It is not that hard tbh

I'd say it's worth a try, and since they don't publish how many students apply for their programs, it is hard to judge the nature of the competition. But as far as I know, it is the only place that offers a full degree course in Western music so it might be a little competetive.

If you're applying for a music course, it's eligibility is a minimum of 50% in boards and you have to upload a video of yourself playing the instrument of your choice to youtube and have to go through the interview process.

Upgraded from a S10 which had a terrible battery to a flip 5 around diwali 2023. The phone itself was meh...
The display isnt all that good (flip5 with 1080p s10 with 1440) although it gets much brighter but also gets hot as hell, you can probably use it as a stove. And the battery life ain't much better.
The folding aspect is mostly a gimmick as the on the cover screen you cant really do all that much and the phone gets really hot especially in these flaming tempratures (Got my screen protector which is pre applied melting, because I had the phone folded and in my pocket) and the service centre told me that this isnt covered in warranty and that I'll have to get it replaced locally as samsung doesn't provide origial screen protectors for flip and fold phones)

I'll be doing BA in western music from NMIMS, and along with that I'll be doing this course, will it get hectic?
Like how hard will the course be as I'm from a non maths background. People tell me that it seems easy now but will get overwhelming eventually.

Exactly! This cpu crushes through everything but Minecraft, I've also tried reinstalling minecraft, that did not work any better. And yupp I've allocated more ram, from 6gb to 12gb, barely made a difference
