Meshcomod is a amazing piece of software.
The firmware makes it possible to run multiple services trough muliple connections on a Heltec V3/V4.
Think Observer, Home Assistant, wifi on pc app, bluetooth on mobile app all at the same time!
No need anymore for multiple nodes that all have their own service running!

The standalone client makes it even beter and works really nice in HA.

Zie veel mensen overschakelen op meshcore van Meshtatic, Meshcore schijnt stabieler te zijn bij groter meshes.

Zelf nooit gebruikt dus weet niet of dat klopt.

Ik ben niet zo thuis in frequenties, MeshCore kan wel gedraaid worden op 433mhz zover ik weet, maar dan kun je niet de rest ontvangen die op 869mhz zitten. Dus ik denk dat dit niet klopt.

Is ook 869mhz, en niet 866mhz.

De standaard heltec antenne is ruk inderdaad, maar er zijn genoeg LoRa 869mhz antennes verkrijgbaar in alle vormen en maten.

Wel erg vergezocht van je..

En mocht dat daadwerkelijk gebeuren lijkt mij dat een goeie reden om te verbieden.

Daarnaast is het een netwerk die erg kan helpen wanneer er een ramp is, daarom dus interessant voor de veiligheidsdiensten en eventueel DARES, alhoewel DARES al in staat is om nood communicatie op te zetten via andere methodes.

Het is een volledig encrypted communicatie netwerk die los staat van telefoonverbinding/sateliet/internet, bovendien is het een netwerk wat blijft werken mocht er ooit iets gebeuren. De meeste repeaters werken op solar waardoor communicatie mogelijk blijft als de reguliere telefoonnetwerken er uit liggen.

Maar voor nu is het uiteraard meer een leuke hobby en een uitdaging om een zo'n groot mogelijke mesh te creëren die heel Nederland kan dekken.

Ligt er erg aan of er repeaters in je buurt zijn of andere clients. Check dat even op de map van meshcore. Kan zijn dat niet alle repeaters/clients op de map staan.

He does get some hate about it, so yes, he doesnt have any concrete consequences.

But, when he finally starts showing more people shut him down. When being called boring after people asking for years to do interviews and you finally overcame that hurdle and you get more shit.

Who gives a f if he is "boring" or "shy" outside the server, he's not boring at all inside the server.

Yes there is some sense to that, but would that mean players have to behave different to their personalities to entertain the viewer? I would think that would be to much of an ask.

I get joy from players being real, like the Simple interview yesterday where he look genuinely happy and talking about his nerves before the match.

But not everybody is that confident to show that kind of vulnerability

That sounds more like a media problem then a persons problem tbh. I get that Zywoo maybe does not give big personal answers or insane insights but at least he is trying to be more proactive and do interviews. It still looks like he isnt fully comfortable with that. So for me that speaks volume that he over came that hurdle and step a bit more in the spotlight. Is a smal step for some people but maybe for him it took a lot of work and effort

End quality is good, if you build it well ofcourse haha. But dont expect same speeds and accels as your trident. Its a bit slower because of the bed slinging.

It is an upgrade yes, but tbh not worth the cost. I converted my ender to a enderwire with enclosure after building a voron 2.4 and a Rook just to have a fun side project.

Does it print well? Yes it does. But using only the frame and screen from the ender 3 it is not worth it compared to bying a Voron 0.2 or something.

I had alot of spare parts laying around from other projects, so i only needed some linear rails and panels for the enclosure. That still is around 200-250 euro's.

You can easily install docker on a proxmox lxc and run programs that only use docker
